Wild Salmon River Expeditions invites you to Kamchatka's wonderful Zhupanova River for a week of the best angling for trophy rainbow trout in the world. Virtually every visiting angler lands the biggest rainbow trout of their life.

Rainbows over thirty inches are landed nearly every week on the Zhupanova. In addition to huge trout, the Zhupanova River provides tremendous fishing for Dolly Varden and Kundzha (an enormous, white-spotted sea-going char that can weigh-in at twenty or more pounds—woe for your trout rod!).

The comfortable, well-appointed Zendzur Lodge is located near the base of 60 miles of prime rainbow trout water surrounded by stunning wilderness. This trip is for the discriminating angler - luxury, unequaled trout fishing at great price! The lodge provides excellent food, comfortable rooms, a natural hot spring bath, western and Russian guides (two rods per guide) and reliable equipment.

Anglers depart daily by jet boat for productive reaches of the middle Zhupanova River . There is one guide and two sponsors in each boat.

The Zhupanova River is easily reached by reliable jet service from Anchorage (5 hours with wekly departures) and a spectacular one hour helicopter ride from Petropavlovsk. The helicopter flight alone is an enchanting trip that takes you by several active volcanoes including the 11,339 foot Koryaksky Volcano and the 9,590 foot Zhupanovsky Volcano. You will be delighted by the stunning vistas of a wild, untamed land laced with clear flowing rivers surrounded by mountain ranges.
