From chocolates on your pillow, fruit baskets in your room, freshly picked bouquets of flowers adorning the lodge, the huge lodge fireplace ablaze to complement the ambience of dinner, to your freshly grilled salmon streamside lunch and the right bottle of wine to accompany it, Heart of Patagonia wants only to provide you with the very best experience possible.
Every meal consists of several courses and fine Chilean wines accompany every lunch and dinner. The handsome bar is always open. All bedrooms are fully furnished and all bathrooms are full size. The Fishing Heart of Patagonia has access to 8 major rivers within a half-hour's drive from the lodge. Most are less than 15 minutes from the lodge. In addition, the lodge is located on the banks of the Rio Aysen and has three beautiful sections of wadable water within walking distance. The fish they target are resident rainbow and brown trout. They do, however, also have migratory species that run the rivers. Sea-run browns, steelhead, coho, chinook, and Atlantic salmon find their way into the region's rivers at various times of the season. Although fishing for these species can be sporadic and their arrival differs from year to year they add another element of fun to the fishing when they can be found.
