landing fishTatlatui Lodge is located on Laslui Lake at the headwaters of the famous Stikine River in a spectacular wilderness setting. It is within easy flying distance to the finest waters in Spatsizi and the surrounding region. The guests' log cabins are equipped with cozy log beds, wood stoves, private showers and shared flush toilets.

The chef provides exquisite cuisine, freshly baked breads, and homemade desserts. Meals are served in the main building that has a sitting area, fly tying area and large pine dining table.

"Quiet" electricity is available 24 hours a day supplied by a solar/inverter power system. Nightly activities include unguided fishing (excellent right in front of the lodge), campfire, horseshoes, cards, walks, or fly tying.

The home waters, Tatlatui Lake and the Upper Firesteel River, offer some of the best dry fly trout fishing in the world! This rainbow trout fishery supports healthy populations of 12-24” rainbows. The Firesteel is a friendly forest stream with classic riffles, pocket water, and flats. The river is so clear that sight fishing is very popular with guests. The hatches of caddis, stone and may flies are plentiful throughout July and August. The dry fly fishing is unbelievable - an entire week could be dedicated to just fishing dries!

Tatlatui Lake, at 13 miles in length, and its feeder creeks produce rainbows in the 2-4 lb. range. The lodge has three motorized jetboats to access the lake and river.

The fly-outs are catered to suit the anglers fishing preference and to offer diversity for Bull trout, Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling.
