A superb winter angling experience  Of all the places in the world I have fished, there is none more rewarding or satisfying. The fishing, rivers, food, wine, accommodations, and warm gracious people have captured my heart forever. Argentina is synonymous with quality angling in a remote, yet civilized setting. You will not find hordes of anglers here.
Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is a classically beautiful city, and clients often wish to stay here for a day or two, resting from their journey, sightseeing and shopping for superb leather goods and sweaters - maybe even visit a Tango club. The hotels and restaurants in the capitals are among the finest I have encountered. Shops are on a par with those in Europe. Prices are comparable to the U.S. The water is considered safe, and the wine is simply wonderful.
Enjoyed by Anglers and Non-Anglers Alike
 This is one fishing trip spouses enjoy as much as anglers. Argentina is stable, clean, sophisticated, and extremely hospitable. Accommodations are charming and comfortable. The food and wine are superb. The scenery unsurpassed. We often have groups of couples with the non-angler as excited to return as the angler. Clients can also elect to fly directly to the fishing areas.
When To Go
The best fishing for trout is South of around 37 degrees latitude. My home in Portland is near 45 degrees North and the climate of Argentina is like eastern Oregon or Montana (semi-arid and called Patagonia). Seasons are reversed with our January being their June.

The appeal of Patagonia is that it offers excellent fly fishing in the "off-season" of North America, November-April - in a spectacular setting with few anglers around.
Custom Itineraries For all Guests
We can design an itinerary to suit anyone from the dedicated angler to couples who might wish to experience Buenos Aires as well as the beautiful countryside of Argentina from about $3,000 a week double occupancy - slightly less for non-anglers and slightly higher for single anglers.
Any Length Stay
Each itinerary is custom designed. We do not mix groups or individuals. Any length stay is easily arranged. An extension to any number of our fishing destinations in Chile can be incorporated as well.
